Facebook Fan Page

Since I first decided to go on this blogging journey. I've created drafts upon drafts of material to post, a Facebook fan page set up, and even a YouTube channel. I've even published a few posts on my blog site. Great, right? Wrong. I haven't asked any of my Facebook friends to like the page and I don't have a single video posted to my channel. The only thing stopping from doing either is, well, me. I just can't seem to work up the nerve.

Here's the problem. I've been trying to figure out a way to do these things anonymously. I didn't want anyone to see that I'm the one inviting them and I didn't want anyone seeing my face all over YouTube. Why? I have no idea. All I know is every time I think about doing it, my chest gets tight and heart rate increases.

Nevertheless, it had to be done. My fiancé decided he'd be the one to get the ball rolling. He went on an inviting frenzy and made a public Facebook post about it TAGGING ME. I was semi ok with all the invites but totally against tagging me in the post. He knew I'd freak out and I was on my way to completely losing it, but then he started saying,

"2 people liked it."
"10 people liked it."
"We got a share."

People we're really liking the page it only had my one little tiny recipe post on there. After a while someone else posted a recipe to the page as well! You guys I was so excited. In one hour the page had 100+ likes. How awesome is that? It may be small in the blogging world, but for me it's huge. I still haven't don't have the courage to invite people on my friends list, but in time I will.

If you're as thrilled as I am about the progress we've made, hit the like button below!
